Simone Biles

Simone Biles, American gymnast (born 14 March 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) She was regarded as one of the top athletes in sports. In the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals in a single Games and she was the first gymnast to earn three consecutive World All-around championships (2013-15). Biles lived at Spring Texas in the Houston metropolitan area following the time she and her sister Adria had been adopted by grandparents Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone began to take the sport of gymnastics seriously as a six-year-old on a field trip to school at Bannon Gymnastix. Aimee Borman was her coach over the following eleven years. Biles was a winner in the floor and vault exercises at the 2009 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships before moving up to the highest level of competition in the year 2011. Within less than two years, she had become the top athlete in her field. Biles was notable for her consistent performance, exuberant personality as well as the difficulty she encountered across the four events she competed in: vault, uneven bars and balance beam.
